The purpose of the SMSHP annual awards is to encourage pharmacists and pharmacy personnel to strive for excellence by recognizing individuals for their contribution to health-system pharmacy practice.

Thanks to the awards committee, who assisted me in reviewing nominations and selecting our honorees. It was very gratifying to see all of the nominations that we had this year, with each nominee deserving of recognition in their own right.

Thank you for everyone who took time to nominate a colleague for these important awards. As it is, we can only have one winner of each award, and I am honored to make these announcements.

~ Susan Leroque Davis, Chair, SMSHP Awards Committee
